The Ultimate Nightclub Photography Guide was written by Ray Walker and Myles Vives.

Ray Walker

Ray, known by fellow photographers as the “Word-of-Mouth” photographer, has been photographing for more than 10 years. He specializes in glamour/fashion, boudiour, and nightlife photography. He is known as the “Word-of-Mouth” photographer simply because he does no marketing and doesn’t sell his services like other photographers. Ray has amassed his large clientele all from positive referrals from existing clients–a testimonial to his knowledge and quality work.

Throughout high school and college, Ray took formal photography classes and worked at his family’s photography studio. His career as a nightclub and nightlife photographer started while in college, after he realized nightclub photography proved to be more of a challenge, and more fun, than his normal studio shoots. You likely have seen some of his photos as many of them are sold through major stock photography web sites.

Myles Vives

Myles is the host of Nightclub Photography TV, a free nightclub, nightlife, and concert photography learning resource on the internet. Myles’s love affair with photography began at a young age when he started taking travel photos over the years as he traveled around the world for family, school, and business. He eventually realized that he enjoyed taking photos of people more than scenery and got into lifestyle photography. One day, a friend introduced him to nightlife photography, and he has been hooked on it ever since. He has over 4 years of experience and has shot at and worked with clubs all over the world.
